Dar -As-Salama is a general hospital established in 1958 under the name of Al Khobar Pediatric and Maternity Hospital. It is considered a pioneer hospital in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The name was later changed to As-Salama Hospital in 1965.
Its pioneering strategy has attracted a wide spectrum of patients from families of the community to Aramco employees, their families and beneficiaries from multinational companies. All have participated in the growth and development of the Eastern Province.
In 2020 the hospital joined the Saudi Medical Care Group (SMG) and the name has changed to DAR AS-SALAMA MEDICAL HOSPITAL.
